The original painting was made in oil on canvas paper. Though this is a smooth, matte, cotton paper, relics from the original canvas texture are visible in the print.

I consider this painting, completed in 2021, my first finished oil painting. It was inspired by a photo by Hannah La Follette Ryan of the popular @subwayhands account on Instagram. I don’t ever intend to sell the original and won’t reprint once this edition is sold.
